Thinking back on my growing-up years (because I am so old), I look back at my Young Women's years with fondness. I had fabulous leaders who displayed confidence in me and were examples of what a righteous woman should be. I spent time doing things like trying on modest wedding dresses and making homemade pizzas with my best friends. Really, I set the foundation for making good choices when I set out on my own. I was equipped with all of the tools I needed to be confident, prepare for the temple, study successfully in school, and run my own household.
I sincerely hope that all of you feel the same way when you look back on these crazy teenage years. I hope that you make memories with a close group of girlfriends, feel support from these young but inspired leaders, and build strong foundations for leading successful, happy, spiritual lives.
To help you remember our journey, I am recording memories from our experiences together. I hope that you will look back on these little posts and be grateful for the times we all shared. With love,
Kasi
